Artistic Director/Choreographer: April Parrish
April then transferred to Mount Olive College where she received a B.S. in Business Administration. She has won numerous awards in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical and ballet. When April is not teaching dance she is busy with her husband Gene and two daughters Bailey 12 years and Madison 20 years. April looks forward to teaching and inspiring her students to love and appreciate dance as much as she does.
April Parrish has been dancing for over 29 years. She began her dance training in Goldsboro and Mount Olive then decided to continue her education and love for dance at East Carolina University. She was privileged to train under Joseph Carrow and Patti Weeks, two principle teachers and choreographers for the school of dance.
Tabatha Kennedy Hubbard is married to Dwayne Hubbard and resides in Pink Hill, NC. She began dancing with Jennifer Tyndall of Jennifer’s School of Dance when she was five years old and throughout high school trained in classical ballet with Kimberly Gray-Saad of the Greenville Civic Ballet.
After graduation from high school, she moved to Atlanta, GA to train with the Atlanta Ballet Center for Dance Education for the next three years. During that time she was invited to perform with the main company of The Atlanta Ballet in their productions of The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Cinderella, Snow White, Giselle, and The Great Gatsby among others. She later attended Mount Olive College and graduated in 2011 with a BA in Religion. Tabatha teaches our beginner and advanced pointe classes
Michele Marshall began dancing at the age of 5 and has trained in ballet, tap, jazz and pointe’. Her love of dance is evident in the amount of time she spends at the studio. Michele is a favorite among the students at Gotta Dance! Michele enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter in her spare time.
